THIEF OF TIME

Thief of Time aims to make a singular event a more universal habit. The art work was located below the HSL ticket machines in the traffic system of Helsinki, where a communter can leave his or hers ticket that he or she does not need anymore. The name Thief of Time comes from Terry Pratchett’s book of the same title. In the novel time is taken from places where it is not needed anymore and brought to busier places. In the art work time is shared. A commuter, who does not need time, is giving it a way to someone in need of time to steal it for him or herself.
