Pii Anttila is an artist, art educator and producer based in Seinäjoki, Finland. Her study interests are art as research, art as pedagogical event, solidarity economy and society’s power structures. She makes and works towards art that is in a form of an event in the public space.

Anttila has received Master of Art degree in Art Education in 2016 from Aalto University, Helsinki and in 2011 Master of Arts, (MA), Audiovisual Media Culture, Media Studies, University of Lapland, Finland and in 2008 Bachelor of Arts (BA), Fine Arts, Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

Her latest art events were held by together with artist Alan Bulfin. These were Yllätyskauppa, The Shop of Surprises, part of HKL art program Taidelinja, Hakaniemi metro station, Helsinki, Finland in 2015 and Friday Fight Night, Olohuonenäyttely, Yhteismaa, Helsinki, Finland in 2014. Notable exhibitions includes 2012 Uusi Muu, Muu Gallery, Helsinki, Celeste Prize 2012, Centrale Montemartini, Rome, Italy. Her solo art project was in PS² -Project Space, Belfast, Northern Ireland, 2010.

She has been co-curating and producing Gaming the System -art event in 2015 with These Animals, Pichelache Helsinki and Taidelinja and Featherweight Portable Museum international touring media art happening together with MediaPyhät and Catalyst Arts Belfast. She has come third in  Celeste Prize 2012.

Anttila is currently working as a project coordinator in Seinäjoki Art Hall and running a  rural arts development project called Mullistaja.
